Production Manager(Events & Exhibitions Industry Only)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead on-site installation and production activities for exhibitions and events. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on UAE experience, and a solid background in production, installation, and warehouse management within the events industry.

This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Daily Operations

  • Review production schedules and prioritize daily and weekly tasks
  • Prepare and execute production plans aligned with project timelines
  • Coordinate with operations, projects, and logistics teams
  • Allocate manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment efficiently

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead and supervise installation and production teams on-site
  • Conduct daily team briefings and end-of-day debriefings
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance support
  • Maintain a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment

Production & Installation Management

  • Monitor production and installation processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are clean, functional, and calibrated
  • Provide regular photo progress reports to the operations team
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and installation best practices

Quality Control & Inventory

  • Implement and monitor quality control measures
  • Conduct inspections throughout the production process
  • Manage inventory of materials, tools, and finished items
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely replenishment

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and resolve production or installation issues promptly
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and productivity enhancements

Reporting & Documentation

  • Track production KPIs such as output, efficiency, and quality
  • Prepare daily production and progress reports
  • Communicate production status and challenges to senior management

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in a management role within the events & exhibitions industry
  • Strong experience in production, installation, and warehouse management
  • Mandatory UAE experience
  • ERP system experience is required

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in project management tools and ERP systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
