Job Description

Southern Team Automall, Virginias' #1 Volume New Car Dealer is seeking motivated, energetic individuals that are able to learn quickly and start generating results immediately. We have openings for qualified Porters for the Service Lane.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with no DUI or reckless driving.

SUMMARY

We are looking for someone to assist our production team with a variety of hands-on duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Checking in vehicles as they arrive
• Assigning repair jobs to technicians and delivering parts to their work areas
• Checking in parts from vendors, inspecting for damage, labeling, and organizing them
• Storing parts properly and keeping the parts area orderly
• Supporting the production team with additional tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be comfortable driving a manual transmission or willing to learn
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. That supports overall shop workflow.
• This position requires working both indoors and outdoors and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with no DUI or reckless driving.
