Production Performance Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Performance Supervisor to oversee daily floor operations, monitor employee performance, and ensure timely movement of work through each production stage. The role is responsible for tracking productivity, identifying anomalies or bottlenecks, guiding teams on best practices, and ensuring smooth handover to the next process step while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure targets, quality, and timelines are met.
  • Track individual and team performance against defined KPIs and productivity benchmarks.
  • Guide, coach, and support employees to improve efficiency, skills, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Identify anomalies, delays, deviations, or performance gaps and take corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Ensure work is processed accurately and handed over smoothly to the next production stage without delays or rework.
  • Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor production data, prepare basic reports, and provide performance updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards on the floor.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve turnaround times.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 8+ years in production - manufacturing, including supervisory role.
  • Strong ability to monitor performance, analyze data, and identify operational anomalies.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to guide, coach, and manage teams.
  • Good understanding of production workflows, process handovers, and quality controls.
  • Strong reporting and tracking skills (Excel, production dashboards, or ERP systems preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
