POSITION SUMMARY
As the Planning Analyst, you'll be responsible for the coordination of the supply-demand match process that will deliver production efficiency while maintaining outstanding customer service. Additional duties will be to drive special projects when required.
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Planning
- Meet on-time delivery to customers' required delivery date
- Provide early warning to functional groups where issues arise
- Review and conduct supply-vs-demand gap analysis. Identify problem areas, drive appropriate functional groups and decide on best course of action to meet targeted delivery dates
- Generate weekly production schedule and communicate to manufacturing group. Publish any changes.
- Coordinate resolution of escalated customer issues and specific product issues cross functionally
- Understand quality issues impacting supply and drive necessary actions
- Maintain right-size inventory target, within desired product mix, while minimizing cost and inventory obsolescence
- Ensure execution on new product releases and transition on product reformulations
Manufacturing Planning

Issue, manage and track jobs in ROSS or PCLE (batch tickets and picks) for production orders and product development, on a daily basis
System and Processes
- Reinforce planning processes
- Contribute to systems and processes enhancements
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Marginal time might be spent in the production area where noise level can be moderate to high

Requirements
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of equivalent work experience required
- Significant supply chain experience in production planning, inventory management, manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details, comfortable working with numbers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team player who can work collaboratively to get things done
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships across functional teams
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
