Job Purpose
To support the production planning team in coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient workflow, optimal use of resources, and timely delivery of products in line with operational requirements.
Key Result Areas
1. Calculate the figures for quantity of meals required, raw materials required for production and correlate it with the forecasting on a day-to-day basis.
2. Distribute Production schedule and work orders to concern sections.
3. Requisition and maintain inventories for materials and supplies necessary to meet production demand.
4. Manage unscheduled stores requirements.
5. Coordinate between the planning teams with relevant information for updates.
6. Coordinate ordering, dispatch and receiving of inventory between the production departments.
7. Receiving, printing and handover of all requirements of various outlets received through ERP system.
8. Provide guidance and support to co-workers to ensure that departmental objectives are met.
9. Comply with the Company Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
10. Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience
Education Qualification:
a) Diploma in Hotel / Catering Management or equivalent qualification (must have)
Skills:- Knowledge of airline recipes and meal requirements.
- Ability to work and perform under significant pressure in a 24 x 7 working environment.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Good standards of verbal and written communication in English.
