Overview
The Production Planner Associate Analyst is responsible for supporting short-, mid-, and long-term production and materials planning to ensure product availability, optimal capacity utilization, and efficient supply chain performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to work with ERP and planning systems to maintain accurate data and resolve operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Materials Planning

Develop and update weekly and monthly supply, production, or materials plans to ensure service levels, capacity alignment, and product availability.

Monitor material requirements (MRP), production schedules, and capacity constraints to ensure synchronization between finished goods demand and supply capabilities.

Provide long-term planning support through data and scenario analysis for extended production or network planning cycles.
Inventory & Network Health

Track inventory performance across the network, identifying risks such as shortages or overstocks.

Recommend adjustments to improve inventory health and distribution efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with production, logistics, procurement, and quality teams to resolve constraints and maintain an aligned end-to-end supply plan.

Communicate planning changes, risks, and mitigation actions to stakeholders.
Issue & Exception Management

Identify planning deviations, delays, or gaps in material availability.

Analyze root causes and propose corrective actions using ERP tools and planning methodologies.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (desirable), preferably related to Supply Chain.
Language

Advanced English (B2, C1, or C2).
Excel Proficiency (Intermediate)

Formulas & Functions:
VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF statements, and conditional formatting for data analysis.

Data Organization & Cleaning:
Sorting, filtering, Remove Duplicates, Text to Columns, Flash Fill.

Pivot Tables & Charts:
Categorizing data by product, date, or quantity and using filters to extract insights.

Data Validation:
Creating drop-down lists, restrictions, and error messages for data accuracy.

Conditional Formatting:
Highlighting trends, outliers, and key indicators.
