Production Planning Engineer

Production Planning & Control Specialist

Main Duties

• Operational planning and dispatching of production tasks on turning, milling, and laser equipment.
• Scheduling and monitoring machine workloads to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Organizing and placing external orders (e.g., painting, subcontracted processes).
• Monitoring warehouse stock levels and operational liquidity of materials.
• Updating, replenishing, and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Identifying shortages and issuing timely purchase requests to the procurement department.
• Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings to define material and process requirements.
• Supporting assembly and production teams with technical knowledge.
• Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers: placing orders, negotiating lead times, monitoring execution.
• Preparing daily/weekly reports on material flow, stock levels, and production progress.

Mandatory Requirements

• Work experience in production planning, dispatching, or materials control.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes (turning, milling), laser cutting operations.
• Understanding of assembly technologies and finishing processes (painting, coating).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
• Experience in warehouse/materials management and stock control.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to react quickly to shortages or production changes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills for working with contractors and suppliers.
• Confident PC skills (ERP/MRP systems, MS Excel, or similar).
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
