Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per sales forecast and customer orders.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust plans based on machine availability and material status.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, quality, and production departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and manpower as per production requirements.
- Track production performance and minimize downtime and delays.
- Maintain proper documentation of production reports, work orders, and planning data.
- Analyze capacity utilization and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum wastage and cost control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of production planning and control (PPC).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory control.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience
- 3–6years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations (as per company requirement).
