Production /Quality Engineer

1. Quality Control: ** - Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for bus body structures or Sheet metal parts manufacturing. - Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished bus body structures to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

2. **Team Leadership: ** - Lead and supervise a team of quality inspectors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent and effective quality control. - Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.

3. **Process Improvement: ** - Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

4. **Documentation and Reporting: ** - Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformities. - Generate regular reports on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives for management review.

5. **Supplier Quality Management: ** - Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components, and establish effective supplier quality management processes.

6. **Training and Development: ** - Provide training to manufacturing personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. - Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and regulations related to manufacturing quality.

**Qualifications: ** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (0-1 years) in quality control/assurance within the bus manufacturing industry. - Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for bus body manufacturing. - Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex quality issues. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
