Production & Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Soldering & Assembly Technician who will support the department by handling soldering, assembling, testing, and documentation related to electronic instruments. The ideal candidate must be skilled in soldering and capable of completing tasks with accuracy, quality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform soldering of various electronic components and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Conduct QC testing of assembled instruments as per checklist and standards.
• Prepare documentation and checklists accurately after testing and assembly.
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Follow up promptly on service or production-related requests.
• Monitor equipment performance and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct QA and safety checks on instruments before dispatch.
• Provide demonstrations to customers when needed for safe and effective equipment use.
• Suggest product improvements or feature enhancements.
• Manage inventory of materials and re-order when required.
• Stay updated on latest industry trends by attending training or workshops.
• Write reports and share regular updates with Managers/Supervisors.
• Support monthly and quarterly service or department targets.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B.E / B.Sc / M.Sc in:
• Electronics
• Electronics & Communication
• Instrumentation Engineering

Experience Required

• 1–3 years of experience in soldering, assembling, and testing electronic equipment/instruments.

Skills Required

• Good soldering skills on different components.
• Basic troubleshooting ability.
• Computer literacy & MS Office knowledge.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Active listening and professional behaviour.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks without stress.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and a growth mindset.
• Willingness to work as per organizational requirements.

Working Conditions

• Office-based role (Residential Engineer).
• Work includes assembly, testing, documentation, and periodic client coordination.
