Production Sewing Technician

Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sewing Machine Operator to become part of our manufacturing team. In this position, you will sew fabric materials in accordance with established specifications and quality benchmarks. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring our products are crafted with precision, speed, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial sewing equipment to create sewn parts and complete products
• Review and follow work orders, design patterns, and assembly guidelines
• Conduct quality inspections on completed items to verify accuracy and workmanship
• Keep work area clean, safe, and well-organized
• Achieve production targets and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Communicate equipment failures or quality concerns to management immediately
• Support additional production floor duties as required

Requirements

• Prior experience with sewing in a production or upholstery environment is preferred
• Proficiency in operating different industrial sewing equipment (e.g., lockstitch, overlock, flatlock machines, etc.)
• Strong hand-eye coordination with keen attention to detail
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Must be comfortable sitting or standing for long periods and able to lift up to 25 lbs when necessary

Pay: $16.90 - $25.00 per hour
