Production Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily printing press operations to ensure high-quality output, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources. The role involves managing staff, monitoring production schedules, maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities of the printing press.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate jobs to operators and production staff.
• Ensure all print jobs are completed on time, meeting client specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Check proofs, samples, and finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain stock of raw materials (papers, inks, plates, etc.) and request replenishments when required.
• Enforce safety standards, housekeeping, and proper machine handling.
• Train, guide, and support production staff to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with the design, sales, and finishing departments to streamline workflow.
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports and update management on progress.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of machines is carried out regularly.
• Maintain cost control by reducing wastage of materials and optimizing production time.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of printing processes (Offset, Digital,, Screen, or relevant).
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in printing press production, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience with printing machinery and workflow management.
• Knowledge of color management and finishing processes is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
