Production Supervisor - Animal Feedmill

To oversee and coordinate all production activities in the animal feed mill to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality feed manufacturing in compliance with company standards and UAE regulatory requirements. The Production Supervisor manages operators and helpers, monitors equipment performance, maintains production schedules, and ensures product quality and consistency.

• Supervise daily feed production operations including weighing, grinding, mixing, pelleting, cooling, and packaging.
• Ensure production targets are achieved on time with minimal downtime and waste.
• Monitor process parameters (temperature, moisture, throughput, etc.) and make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve production or equipment issues.
• Ensure the correct feed formulations are followed as per the nutritionist’s or production plan’s instructions.
• Supervise and guide production operators, machine attendants, and helpers.
• Plan and assign daily work schedules and monitor performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new staff on equipment operation, hygiene, and safety.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards as per QA and formulation requirements.
• Work closely with the Quality Control department for in-process and final product sampling.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all production areas to prevent contamination.
• Ensure proper segregation and labeling of different feed batches.
• Check all equipment before and during operation for safety and functionality.
• Ensure workers follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) rules and wear PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of daily production, raw material usage, and downtime.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports and submit them to the Production Manager.
• Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency, energy use, and product quality.
