Production Supervisor : Plastic Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Supervisor : Plastic Engineering to join our team. The Production Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high product quality. The role involves close collaboration with production teams, maintenance, quality control, and other departments to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze workflow, capacity, and production methods to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs.
• Support new product introduction and process validation.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to reduce machine downtime.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and quality.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for production issues.
• Coordinate with quality and engineering teams for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality systems such as ISO 9001.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
