Production System Technician

Specific Responsibilities

As part of Allocation and Data Management team the Data Analytics / Production Systems Tech will work closely with the Hydrocarbon Allocation Supervisor ensuring the allocation and production accounting system (Avocet) is correctly populated and reflecting the correct hydrocarbon routing from wells to facilities. As a secondary responsibility, this role will laterally support stakeholders including Production Engineering and Field Production Operations personnel to create reporting standards and coordinating any major updates with IT and contractors. This role requires significant work with large complex databases and thus requires a background in either data analytics, programming, or

Principal elements of the role or accountabilities:

• Ensure field and office teams are aligned with Avocet inputs and daily allocation results.
• Support field staff during initial training and subsequent Avocet and reporting queries.
• Engage with Field and Office stakeholders to create SQL queries and subsequent reporting standards in Spotfire.
• Incorporate any digitalization improvements and high frequency data enhancements in daily reporting.
• Laterally support the creation of Avocet Solutions such as Chemical management systems or enhancements to the Production Loss Interrogation processes.
