SUMMARY OF ROLE:

At MFUSED, we are passionate about crafting the highest-quality cannabis products for our customers. As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in producing the oils that power our award-winning vape products and support our expanding edibles and flower portfolio.

Based at our Scottsdale facility, this role focuses on preparing production-ready oil for Arizona while also creating non-THC oil formulations that support new market launches across multiple states. In addition, you’ll contribute to product testing, ensuring hardware, cartridges, and cones meet MFUSED’s high standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Your work will directly fuel the products MFUSED is best known for, shaping customer experience and strengthening our reputation as a trusted cannabis brand.


What You’ll Do:

  • Oil Formulation & Preparation
    • Produce production-ready oil for vape and other cannabis products in Arizona.

    • Formulate non-THC oil for use in R&D and product development for new state markets.

    • Accurately measure, mix, and document raw materials to ensure precise dosing and consistency.


  • Product & Hardware Testing

    • Conduct testing of vape hardware, cartridges, cones, and other delivery systems.

    • Evaluate hardware performance with MFUSED oils and document results.

    • Collaborate with R&D to refine oil compatibility and product innovation.


  • Quality & Safety

    • Perform stability, potency, and compatibility testing on all formulations.

    • Prepare and submit samples for third-party lab testing and COA documentation.

    • Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized lab workspace in line with Arizona regulations.


  • Documentation & Compliance

    • Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and formulation documentation.

    • Support continuous improvement of SOPs and formulation processes.

    • Ensure strict adherence to state cannabis manufacturing requirements.


  • Collaboration & Culture

    • Partner with extraction, packaging, QA, and R&D teams to ensure seamless processes.

    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and product quality.

    • Be part of a collaborative and fast-moving lab team committed to innovation and compliance.



What You’ll Bring:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of laboratory, production, or formulation experience preferred, OR equivalent hands-on lab experience (cannabis, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food & beverage strongly considered).
  • Strong knowledge of lab techniques, formulation methods, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to prepare accurate formulations, perform dilutions, and maintain precise documentation.
  • Familiarity with cannabis oils, distillates, or comparable product types is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 21+ and able to meet Arizona cannabis industry compliance requirements (e.g., background checks, licensing).

Even Better if:

  • Hands-on cannabis oil formulation or distillate blending experience.
  • Experience testing vape hardware, cartridges, or cones.
  • Knowledge of Arizona cannabis compliance standards and multi-state requirements.
  • Previous involvement in R&D or product testing environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • On-site presence in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and handling of raw materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
  • Work in regulated laboratory environments requiring PPE, sanitation discipline, and adherence to security protocols.

Compensation for this role will be based on experience, work location, and other factors. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. We are not sponsoring Visas at this time.
