We are looking for a ''Production/Production Planning Specialist'' for our global business partner in manufacturing sector and operates in Kemalpaşa, İzmir.
What You’ll Do :

Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly production activities to meet customer demand and inventory targets.

Create and update production plans and capacity requirements based on sales forecasts, material availability, and resource constraints.

Monitor production progress, resolve delays, adjust schedules, and maintain continuous workflow.

Communicate production plans and changes with related departments (production, maintenance, purchasing, logistics, quality).

Ensure raw material and component availability by coordinating with procurement and suppliers.

Follow up on work orders, shop-floor data, and ERP/MRP system accuracy.

Prepare and maintain production planning documents: BOMs, routings, cycle times, and planning parameters.

Track production KPIs (OTD, Efficiency, Scrap, Productivity, Machine Utilization) and support improvement actions.

Identify bottlenecks, propose corrective solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities by determining planning requirements and production readiness.

Support inventory accuracy processes (cycle counts, stock analysis, safety stock settings)

Ensure all activities follow site safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
What You Need :

4–5 years of experience in production planning
-
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Ability to work in production environments and manage shop-floor interactions

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
-
Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus

Willingness to learn production planning concepts (capacity planning, scheduling, MPS, MRP)

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Valid driver license.

Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and company standards.
What Makes You Stand Out :

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial

Engineering or related technical fields

English proficiency at B2 level or above (reading, writing, speaking)

Knowledge of production planning methodologies (MPS, MRP, Kanban, JIT)

Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Standard Work)

Experience with ERP/MRP systems

Strong problem-solving mindset (PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa)

Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret production trends

Proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and improving flow
