1. Conduct assessments of professional development needs for Arabic language teachers.
2. Prepare and implement professional development plans and programs related to Arabic language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, literature, rhetoric).
3. Design training programs promoting modern teaching strategies, active learning, and alternative assessment.
4. Provide professional guidance to teachers for improving classroom performance.
5. Monitor and evaluate the impact of training programs and provide evidence-based feedback.
6. Build and support professional learning communities in Arabic language education.
7. Participate in educational conferences and forums at Qatar University and beyond.
8. Prepare periodic reports on training programs and initiatives.
9. Collect and analyze data related to professional development activities.
Participate in the committees and task forces of the National Center.
Qualifications
Education and Certificates
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language.
- Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction or Master’s degree in Arabic Language with an educational qualification.
Languages
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in KG to Grade 12 system or equivalent systems, including leadership roles (Arabic Language Coordinator, Academic Vice -principal, Arabic Educational Supervisor).
