2. Design professional development plans based on identified needs.
3. Design and implement specialized training programs to enhance mathematics teachers skills and educational leadership.
4. Provide guidance and mentoring to mathematics teachers and coordinators.
5. Monitor and evaluate performance and skills acquired during training programs.
6. Contribute to building math professional learning communities.
7. Participate in conferences, forums, and events at Qatar University.
8. Prepare reports related to educational programs offered.
9. Collect and analyze data related to professional development activities.
10. Participate in committees related to the development of mathematics teaching.
11. Follow recent developments in educational practices and mathematics teaching.
12. Contribute to educational research at the university level and beyond.
13. Perform additional tasks aligned with university objectives.
Qualifications
Education and Certificates
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
- Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction or master’s degree in Mathematics with an educational qualification.
Languages
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in KG to Grade 12 system or equivalent systems, including leadership roles (Math Coordinator, Academic vice-principal in Mathematics, Math Educational Supervisor).
