Professional Engineer (Electrical QA/QC – Pepco Systems) - KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Professional Engineer (PE) with proven experience in QA/QC and Pepco electrical designs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform QA/QC reviews of electrical design packages.
• Review and sign PE plans for designs.
• Prepare field notes, engineering/construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Stay current on Pepco and industry electrical design standards.
• Collaborate with and mentor design teams on best practices and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Pepco systems, electrical design standards, and quality control processes, as well as the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with design teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Pepco systems.
• Maryland and DC Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical utility design standards and ability to manage designs from concept through construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and governmental agencies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GWD required.

Compensation:

• $50.00-$68.00/hour (equal to $104,000-$141,440 annually)
• Position eligible for overtime
• Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company
