Program Analyst 1

THE POSITION

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation’s Bureau of Central Operations is seeking a Program Analyst 1. Step into this meaningful role within the Management, Systems, and Evaluation Division: Evaluation and Monitoring Section and work closely with the Section Administrator and a team of skilled analysts to support important data and reporting needs. Your work will help prepare, review, and share key information that guides decisions across the Bureau of Central Operations and beyond. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the division by preparing, reviewing, and organizing data and reports for many program needs. The role helps ensure that information is accurate, timely, and useful for decision making. As a Program Analyst 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Recurring Reporting: Execute scheduled data queries and provide results to stakeholders on time
• Help Desk Support: Review report requests, research issues, and respond to questions in a timely manner
• Data Issue Resolution: Submit Ad hoc data concerns to OIT and track them through completion
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development: Assist in reviewing and improving procedures for creating reports and data requests
• Program Compliance: Meet with program areas to understand reporting requirements and support compliance efforts
• Data Analysis: Create charts and presentations to show trends that support data-based decisions

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are negotiable, Monday - Friday, with a 30 or 60-minute lunch (depending on work schedule). AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $51,971.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

• One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
