Job Summary
The Northwest Home Equity Assurance Program (NWHEAP) is seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Program Assistant to support the delivery and expansion of our homeowner-focused initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence across NWHEAP’s core programs.

The Program Assistant will help coordinate outreach, manage homeowner engagement, support application processing, and ensure timely reporting and data tracking. Duties

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of NWHEAP homeowner programs, including membership enrollment and financial assistance initiatives.
  • Support application intake, documentation review, and tracking for programs.
  • Coordinate homeowner outreach efforts, including community events, direct mail campaigns, digital communications, and partner engagement.
  • Maintain accurate program records in Salesforce and internal databases to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Prepare weekly and quarterly reports on all programs.
  • Assist with organizing community workshops and homeowner information sessions.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and maintaining organized program files.

Experience

  • Experience in program coordination, nonprofit administration, housing services, or community development preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple task simultaneously.
  • Experience working with data systems (Salesforce or similar CRM platforms) and preparing reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage community members through outreach, workshops, or public presentations.
  • Administrative experience including record-keeping, scheduling, and document management is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal staff, NWHEAP members, and the broader community.
  • Leadership qualities with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to supporting the local community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,176.34 - $52,000.00 per year
