We are now hiring for a full-time Program Supervisor to join our Team at Midway!
SALARY:
- Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average range of salary for the position is between $60,000 and $63,000.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure youth are engaged within 48 hours of referral and receive coordinated services for up to 90 days.
- Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized service plans.
- Ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, youth-centered, and restorative in approach.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to assigned staff.
- Monitor staff productivity, case documentation, and service quality.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting in required systems.
- Track performance measures and ensure compliance with funder contract requirements.
- Maintain program adherence to agency policies, funding guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
- Serve as liaison with DFSS, Chicago Police Department, Chicago Public Schools, and community partners.
- Participate in required meetings, case coordination efforts, and collaborative initiatives.
- Support continuous quality improvement and program development efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field plus 8 years’ experience in social services with increasing levels of administrative and supervisory responsibility required; or Master’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in social services with increasing levels of administrative and supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a complex environment.
- Mobility for travel.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
