Program Coordinator

Overview:

Supports and assists the Clinical Director in the operations, supervision and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids.

Essential Duties:

• Assists Program Director in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care.
• Supervises and monitors direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
• Identifies, monitors, and implements treatment goals and objectives.
• Supervises and assists in identifying, monitoring, and implementing treatment goals and objectives.
• Provides a safe, structured learning environment.
• Interacts with children in a professional, positive manner.
• Creates atmosphere of enthusiasm and commitment.
• Communicates effectively with parents, peers, and supervisor.
• Prepares, updates and maintains documentation and children’s records.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, health department, Behaven Kids policies and procedures, and fire and safety regulations.
• Supervises and monitors direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
• Provides orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
• Supervises the implementation of the Behave’n model of care.
• Carries out duties of Clinical Director in his/her absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School degree (required)
  
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, human services or related field (preferred).
• Proven leadership experience.
  
• A combination of education and experience might be accepted as a substitute for bachelor’s degree.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Part time slots:

• Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR
• Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:00 pm

Compensation

• $18 to $22
