Job Purpose:
Supervises employees and manages an 8 bed group home for individuals with developmental / intellectual disabilities. Leads multidisciplinary team.
Duties:
Develops, coordinates and reviews client plans. Update plans as necessary. Monitors services. Completes routine paper work. Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, coaching employees; discipline when necessary. Communicate job expectations; Enforcing policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from certified university or college. Degrees accepted: RN, social work, dietician, psychology, special education, physical education, speech-language pathologist, audiologist, physical therapist, sociology or rehabilitation counseling and 1 or more years experience working with individuals with developmental / intellectual disabilities.
Must be able to pass drug test and comply with MRSI's drug free work policy.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience supervising employees. Must be a team leader, demonstrate good time management & good organizational skills, be able to make independent decisions that are consistent with company policies as well as State and Federal regulations. People oriented. Starting wage depending on education and experience.
