STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Under the direction of the Vice President for Integrated Health & Wellness Services, the CCBHC Program Evaluator has responsibility of ensuring the collection of data, assess the performance of the project activities, and assume responsibility for measuring quality of the program in compliance with all requirements and expectations of this SAMHSA grant. This individual will work with CCNS' Planning and Evaluation Department in fulfilling the duties of this position. Reports to Project Director. The CCBHC Program Evaluator is expected to have regular interactions with the CCBHC's data analyst and other key CCBHC staff.
  • Outline all requirements under this grant and develop a work plan for complying with all requirements.
  • Work with Planning and Evaluation to ensure the availability of all data required to assess the performance of this grant and report on quality.
  • Ensure that the program has measurable outcomes based on program model
  • Ensure that programs have measurable outputs
  • Develop comprehensive performance metrics
  • Develop outcome measures that reflect the intended purpose of the existing program as well as for future Agency planning process
  • Generate reports for senior management
  • Coordinates and organizes various quality improvement functions.
  • Completes various program evaluation studies including agency evaluations.
  • Assures that the credentialing and staff competency systems are developed and staff qualifications and licensures are up to date.
  • Work closely with the Office of Planning & Evaluation to communicate data findings and support other planning and evaluation priorities
  • Assures that annual consumer satisfaction surveys are completed and submitted for state reporting.
  • Collaborate with Office of Information Technology to develop database for capturing program outputs and outcomes
  • Assist senior management in interpretation of data to inform their quality improvement processes
  • Assist in other projects related to planning and evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PH.D in social services, research, or related field or Master's degree in a relevant field, with two years experience in mental health management or administration
  • 5 years' experience conducting quantitative and qualitative evaluations
  • Prior experience supervising staff and/or program management
  • Prior experience in logic model development, trend analysis, data analysis, and or performance metrics preferred
  • Excellent statistics skills and working knowledge of statistics software
  • Must possess skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be able to summarize complex data efficiently and effectively.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours and days -including weekends/evenings/holidays according to needs of a 24/7 programs.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, & sit.
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds.
  • Should be able to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, & office equipment.
  • Ability to read printed materials and computer screens.
  • Ability to travel throughout the five boroughs from site to site.
