Program Management Specialist

Program Management Specialist (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO)

Work with the Agile Leaders, Project Managers, SCRUM Masters, Technology, Regional, Operations, Care, GTM to define E2E delivery milestones and drive value delivery for customers. Own and drive PI Planning for a specific function with partnership from Product, Technology, Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders. Partner with Product team ensuring a large backlog is built. Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale initiatives, build roadmaps, project plans with dependencies, Track progress, identify and resolve dependencies, proactively identify risks and mitigate risks, escalate in timely manner eliminating issues by managing and track systemic impediments. Ensure Project status is up to date in the system of record, communicate the status at regular intervals to all stakeholders including executive updates. Identify communication gaps, handle issues, and provide support to teams balancing opposing priorities. Monitor Testing progress ensuring results are reviewed and Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures. Coordinate major feature releases and ongoing delivery of value to customers where multiple teams, are involved in development. Handle Product Launch approval, ensuring each product release has mandatory approval from Engineering, Product, Global Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Marketing, and business stakeholders. Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized. Provide expert advice and coaching to leads and teams to ensure best practice execution. Communicate role up of project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership consumption, escalating blocking issues risking milestone delivery. Design and develop new data pipelines and enhancements in an Agile Framework environment to improve Analytics and Reporting data flows. Coordinate with business and IT teams inside and outside the organization to identify and manage dependencies and deliverables. Ensure all internal and external integrations are successfully completed to enable successful launches. Establish and implement standards to facilitate high quality IT deliverables. Provide support for user questions, problem resolutions and research requests. Telecommuting is permitted 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC, 7001 East Belleview Ave, Denver, CO 80237.Salary: $138,341 - $214,311 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Technical Project Manager or any occupation/position/job title performing project management.

Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid Project Management Methodologies; 5 years of professional experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment; 5 years of professional experience leveraging technology including Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, Power Point and MS Office for efficient project management and implementation; 5 years of professional experience driving end-to-end delivery of large-scale initiatives, including building roadmaps and project plans with dependencies; 5 years of professional experience identifying communication gaps and handling issues that are balancing multiple priorities; 5 years of professional experience identifying risks and dependencies; 5 years of professional experience utilizing Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence; 5 years of professional experience performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration; and 5 years of professional experience owning and driving quarterly PI (Program Increment) planning in partnership with product management, engineering, and cross-functional area leaders.

Salary

The on-target earnings range is $138,341 - $214,311 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
