Job Overview: A highly skilled Acceleration and Startup Ecosystem Builder who plays a pivotal role in supporting the Corporate Innovation team in driving Bahrain-based programs. This position involves program management while playing an active role in ecosystem building through events and training. The Corporate Innovation Manager will mentor startups, maintain strong relationships with partners, and contribute to the overall success of Brinc’s innovation initiatives. Additionally, the role involves identifying sales leads, developing proposals, and pitching Brinc’s services to new potential clients, further expanding the company's impact in the innovation ecosystem.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Assist in developing and refining the program curriculum in alignment with corporate innovation goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to create and enhance content tailored to the needs of program participants.

Program Logistics and Coordination:

  • Manage the program calendar with the Program Coordinator, liaising with stakeholders to schedule events, mentorship sessions, workshops, and other key activities.
  • Oversee the organization of multiple programs/events, ensuring seamless execution through effective scheduling, communication, and logistical planning.
  • Support the onboarding process for program participants, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the program.

Startup/SMEs Engagement:

  • Plan outreach campaigns to attract and engage startups and SMEs for participation in innovation programs.
  • Participate in the due diligence process, including reviewing applications and contributing to the selection of participants.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all portfolio startup teams, providing guidance and support throughout their program journey.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to plan and execute both internal and external events, positioning Brinc’s programs as leader in innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication of the program schedule and updates across all relevant platforms in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Engage and secure relevant corporate partners, mentors, and investors, fostering strong connections between them and the startups within the program.
  • Regularly liaise with Brinc’s global team to coordinate joint workshops, mentor sessions, and other collaborative efforts.

Ecosystem Building and Event Management:

  • Plan and execute Brinc’s events, including hackathons, workshops, and design sprints, ensuring they meet strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to promote these events and achieve maximum impact.

Research and Strategic Proposals:

  • Conduct market and customer research to gain insights into the needs and challenges of startups and SMEs.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and scopes of work (SOWs) that highlight Brinc’s unique capabilities in addressing these needs.

Business Development:

  • Identify potential sales leads and develop proposals that showcase Brinc’s value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Pitch Brinc’s goods and services to new clients, working to expand the company’s footprint within the innovation ecosystem.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, startups, accelerators, or corporate innovation.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple programs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with industries such as technology, fintech, or sustainability is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for mentoring, stakeholder management, and public speaking.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities strategically.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is required.

Education

  • Degree in business, innovation, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are an advantage but not mandatory.
