Summary:
The program manager’s responsibility is to strategically deliver the desired outcome of maintaining and effectively retaining Freedom Mortgage’s pool portfolio within Freedom Mortgage, Agencies, and/or investors compliance thresholds or SLAs for all documents and pool certification/re-certification requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Formulates, organizes, and monitors inter-connected projects in relation to obtaining accurate documents and pool certification requirements.
Prioritizes the workload for the team to ensure higher critical items are worked timely.
Leads, mentors, trains, and evaluate program staff.
Develops and controls deadlines in relation to pool certification compliance.
Applies change, risk, and resource management as program develops.
Oversight of staff and vendor relationship.
Works with Assoc. Director on program performance to maximize accuracy and effectiveness.
Conducts appropriate research to resolve corrections, escalated issues, and with critical thinking skills.
Coordinates and maintains high level reporting to showcase the programs’ efficiencies/deficiencies with viable solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, work well with many interruptions, have multi-tasking capabilities, and quickly adapt to change.
General office duties, with phone calls outbound/inbound, emails, etc. when following up on recovery of documents.
Must exhibit very thorough detail orientation.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA or equivalent, preferred.
5+ years of mortgage experience with processing documents, required.
3+ years of document management related experience, required.
Strong knowledge of Agency guidelines, Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, preferred.
Business analysis skills are required, project management preferred.
Proficient in Ginnie NET and/or Mortgage Industry Custodian Site Portals, strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with strong skills in Excel.
