The
Program Manager
– Vehicle CKD Programs is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of
MMM
Completely Knocked Down (CKD) vehicle assembly projects in Egypt. This includes managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating with global partners, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires extensive communication, strong coordination skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities include:
1. Program Planning & Execution

Lead the planning, launch, and execution of CKD vehicle assembly programs in Egypt.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and risk mitigation plans.

Ensure alignment with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) requirements and local regulations.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the primary liaison between engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and logistics teams.

Coordinate with global OEM partners, suppliers, and local vendors to ensure seamless CKD kit imports and localization compliance.

Facilitate regular program reviews with senior management and stakeholders.
3. Budget & Cost Management

Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Monitor expenditures, track variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Optimize localization strategies to reduce dependency on imported components.
4. Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight

Oversee CKD kit procurement, customs clearance, and inbound logistics.

Ensure timely delivery of parts to avoid production delays.
-
Work with suppliers to resolve bottlenecks and improve lead times.
5. Quality & Compliance

Ensure CKD assembly processes meet OEM quality standards and Egyptian regulatory requirements.

Implement quality control measures and conduct audits to maintain high production standards.

Address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Risk Management

Identify potential risks (supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, production delays) and develop mitigation strategies.

Escalate critical issues to senior management with proposed solutions.
7. Stakeholder Communication

Provide regular updates to OEM partners, government authorities, and internal leadership.

Prepare and present program status reports, KPIs, and post-mortem analyses.
8. Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Conduct performance reviews and support skill development for team members.
Other requirements:
- B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably in Automotive or Production Engineering, familiar with the vehicle Sub-Systems & Components.

Master’s in business administration (MBA) or any Project management certificate (I.e. PMP) is a plus

4-7 Years of experience in Automotive industry

2-3 years of experience in a similar position is preferable

Knowledge of Egyptian automotive policies/regulations and import/export regulations is a plus
