Program Manager – Family Support & Grants (Everyday Wishes Program)

We’re seeking a Program Manager – Family Support & Grants to coordinate funding programs, manage grant distribution, and serve as a key point of contact for families and partners.
Work Environment
- Hybrid: Work from home with some in-person responsibilities
- Home visits in Nassau & Suffolk County, NY
- Equipment provided for remote work
- Participation in fundraising events and community outreach
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for families, care managers, and agencies regarding funding requests
- Guide applicants through available funding programs and application processes
- Coordinate and process grant and reimbursement requests, including Review Committee preparation
- Submit required trackers to OPWDD and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Manage fund distribution (reimbursements and direct payments) and maintain accurate reports
- Complete and submit all required reports to public and private grantors
- Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding funding status
- Track and update client and program data
- Assist with fundraising events, outreach, and community engagement
- Attend meetings and support program operations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- NYS OPWDD experience strongly preferred
- Background in healthcare, social services, or nonprofit programs
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Salary
$50,000 – $65,000 annually, with potential for higher compensation based on relevant experience (OPWDD, healthcare, or nonprofit program management)

Pay: $24.50 - $31.25 per hour
