As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Procurement including creation of purchase orders and change orders. You will work with all upstream and downstream stakeholders to make sure request for quotation (RFQ) packages are complete and correct for your team to be able to place on time procurement operations (POs). This also includes proactively identifying and communicating risks to timely PO placement that may impact future data center equipment deliveries. Your projects will span offices, time zones and hemispheres. You will also ensure the smooth documentation, integration, tracking, governance and alignment of all procurement processes and projects related to Data Center Equipment. You will provide support to the Category Management and Site teams in execution of POs and PO changes as well as by developing tracking mechanisms around Supplier onboarding, PO creation and PO changes.
