Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in driving, building and qualifying New Product Introduction (NPI) process stages with engineering teams.
  • Experience working in hardware or contract manufacturing for supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with hardware programs (e.g., PCBA) or networking products (e.g., NICs, switches, optics, racks).
  • Experience in Supply/Demand planning.
  • Experience in leading operational initiatives and managing cross-functional trade offs/alignments across multiple regions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and continuously improve business processes and tools.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations' new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
  • Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters and ensure production transitions meet program goals.
  • Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost, assembly, test, Bill of Materials (BOM), capacity readiness and transition plans).
  • Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
