Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience managing external vendors and agencies to deliver creative and editorial assets.
  • Experience in writing, editing, or overseeing content for executive leadership (e.g., keynotes, messaging, or thought leadership).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience building knowledge repositories, content frameworks, or sources of truth for portfolios.
  • Experience directing designers or creative teams to produce high-impact presentations.
  • Experience working within a research, engineering, or technical organization, with the ability to synthesize technical concepts into accessible narratives.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus across distributed, global teams.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will build the foundations for the teams narrative while managing the operations of executive thought leadership, from content creation and visual design to stage management. You will also oversee external vendors to ensure quality and consistency across all platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the strategic narrative repository, create and update standardized one-pagers/one-sliders for every project providing data points including mission statements, journey to date, annual goals, impact, and key achievements to ensure a unified organizational message.
  • Ensure tone consistency across all internal and external touchpoints. Manage the production of keynotes, panels, fireside chats, and media preparation spanning presentation slides, speaker notes, and full scripts.
  • Collaborate with partners to manage the pipeline of reactive and proactive speaking opportunities, ensuring strategic alignment and leveraging geographic presence to support the impact of executive travel.
  • Maintain operational flexibility to lead strategic initiatives and projects as prioritized.
  • Maintain schedule flexibility to collaborate with global stakeholders and drive progress across distributed teams and time zones.
