This is a unique opportunity to participate in the launch and operations of a unique research program positioned to benefit patients globally. Under the direction of the Program Faculty Director and in close collaboration with a faculty leadership team the Program Manager will be responsible for advancing the vision, strategy, and goals of the program.
The role involves managing a multi-disciplinary research program, supporting the identification of new research activities for funding support and coordination of progress reporting. The Program Manager will also lead community engagement and outreach efforts focused on research, clinical and patient stakeholders.
The Program manager will lead the administrative activities of the program including coordinating leadership meetings and discussions with internal and external collaborators and partners.
The Program Manager will oversee the planning and realization of key scientific and community events, including round table discussions among experts, collaborative project meetings and community-facing programming. They will serve as a primary liaison to stakeholders across Stanford and beyond—including academic collaborators, donors and patient advocates—and will play a key role in shaping the program’s communications and collaborations.
As the program evolves, the Program Manager will also contribute to philanthropic stewardship and sustainability efforts, working closely with institutional partners to prepare grant proposals and manuscripts track deliverables, and support donor engagement through strategic reporting and impact documentation.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in academic program development, research administration, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
