About Junior Achievement: Junior Achievement of Oklahoma (JA) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to own their economic success through innovative programs focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work & career readiness.

Position Overview: As Program Manager, you would implement and manage daily operations of JA programs, which includes providing program materials and resources, recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining accurate program records through database entries, and conducting consistent follow-ups. Responsible for maintaining strong school partnerships, and increasing public awareness for JA programs. Ensuring a quality experience for students, educators, and volunteers if essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide all program support including class recruitment and implementation, volunteer recruitment, new volunteer training, and customer service calls.
  • Maintain database information on all programs and participants. Enter, file, and maintain all data for programs and events.
  • Provide customer service and support for JA programs.
  • Assure program quality through educator and volunteer phone calls, mailings, and customer service.
  • Assist with major fund raising and education events as needed, which may require working a couple of afternoons or early evening events.
  • Prepare materials for volunteer orientations.
  • Assist with planning logistics of event(s); inform volunteers, teachers, school administrators, and business executives of event(s); plan and distribute appreciation materials.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and educators to support JA program experiences.
  • Other projects as required.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field or proven equivalent experience
  • Proven strong project management and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills
  • Culturally sensitive with confirmed ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders of different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and from businesses and industries of varying size and scope
  • Self-starter/highly motivated with proven performance in a multi-task, fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication as well as computer literacy skills
  • Capacity for volunteer recruitment and retention as well as customer relationship/management experience
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $44,000.00 per year
