The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive operational and administrative support across Human Resources, Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety, and Campus Security. The position serves as a central resource to ensure consistency, accuracy, and responsiveness in handling administrative processes and requests. in addition, the role is cross-trained in multiple operational support functions, allowing flexibility to provide backup coverage and contribute to the overall efficiency, service delivery, and continuity of operations within the department.


Essential Functions

  • Manage the creation, ordering, and issuance of business cards and name tags.
  • Receive and distribute all incoming mail for supported departments
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies and materials for supported departments.
  • Manage the college’s vehicle fleet, reporting, including acquisition, coordination of repairs, replacement, and/or disposal.
  • Maintain and monitor a system for all non-instructional spaces, assisting with move coordination as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of communication plans/feedback surveys on behalf of campus operations
  • Assist with rule coordination and policy updates to public facing website
  • Answer and handle phone calls and email requests for supported departments. Escalating as appropriate.
  • Enter work orders, tickets and/or cases in TopDesk, or Megamations, Omnigo, or other software. Also providing updates to requestors as appropriate.
  • Procure authorized equipment and/or services upon request from Human Resources.
  • Coordinate with Procurement as necessary for equipment and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience working in an administrative setting

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel/Microsoft products

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or closely related field.

  • Two to three years of relevant professional experience in customer service, administrative support, or operations

  • Equivalent education/experience

Please note that we are unable to sponsor visas for this position. Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States will be considered. This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work 40 hours a week, with a salary range of $43,716-58,380* annually. All classified positions will start their salary at Step A. When you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Association (WPEA) Union. Classified positions qualify for the following benefits:
