Noah's Ark is a Christian Center that is also enrolled in Early Achievers. Noah's Ark is looking for a Program Supervisor that will lead by example. They will oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children while supporting staff and maintaining compliance with regulations. This includes developing and implementing educational programs, building positive relationships with families, and fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Key Responsibilites-

*Staff Management:trains, supervises, evaluates, and assists daycare staff, including teachers and support personnel. Assists with hiring.

*Program and Curriculum Development:along with lead teachers, creates and implements age appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's development and align with the center's values.

*Compliance:knowledge of state and local licensing requirements and safety regulations.

*Parent Communication:oversees communication with parents, addressing concerns, and providing updates on the children's progress.

*Facility Management:oversees the daily operations of teh center, including maintenance, cleanliness and safety procedures.

*Record Keeping:maintains accurate records of children in center and staff.

*Creating a Positive Environment:fosters a welcoming and supportive environment for children, parents, and staff.

Educational Background:2 years post secondary school in Early Childhood Education or comparable.

Experience:Prior experience in a childcare or educational setting, ministry or religious context. Experience in leading and managing teams, whether staff or volunteers. Experience in creating and implementing age appropriate curriculum.

Key Skills:Leadership,organization,communication,interpersonal,child development, religious understanding, problem solving and flexibility.

Other Important Qualities: personal faith, nurturing and compassionate, commitment to safety along with DCYF background checks and clearances.

Required Trainings:

*Merit Registration and Portable Background Check *Current CPR/First Aid Blood Borne Pathogens Training *Negative Tuberculosis Test *Current Food Handlers *Current Safe Sleep Training

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
