Programmer - Advanced

Scope of the Project:

This project includes backfill support on production systems, working on smaller short-term projects, and collaborating with customers, development teams, operational staff, and QA teams.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Medicaid Services MMIS and MEDS Teams
• Make coding changes to COBOL and ADS programs using IDMS Network and IDMS Relational Databases
• Perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing
• Support QA, User Acceptance Testing, and External Testing activities
• Make required coding changes during testing phases
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
• Work closely with Clemson staff and other contracted resources
• Participate in rotational On-Call support duties

• 10+ years of Mainframe experience
• 10+ years of MVS COBOL
• 10+ years of JCL
• 10+ years of IDMS/Network
• 7+ years of CA-ADS
• 5+ years of Changeman
• 5+ years of CICS
• 5+ years of VSAM

• File-Aid
