Since 2010, it has achieved a record capacity utilization rate of 85%, which is uncommon in Turkey and the rest of the world, with sales of 8,500,000 m2 of output.
We are looking for a Planning and Progress Payment Engineer to join our group company AFG Çelik Yapı ve Kimya.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related departments,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and controlling national and international EPC projects (site experience will be an asset),
• Strong knowledge of construction project management processes and standards, planning, quantity take-off, and progress payment procedures,
• Advanced skills in project planning and scheduling — ability to prepare baselines , perform progress tracking , manage resource (man-hour) allocation , and define project milestones ,
• Experience in preparing and monitoring progress payment reports and productivity analyses,
• Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6 , and advanced command of MS Excel ,
• Flexibility to travel within Turkey and abroad,
• Fluency in English and Turkish.
Job Description
With the guidance of Project Executive;
• Prepare time schedules and planning documentation for tender and ongoing projects,
• Develop baseline schedules, monitor progress, and update forecasts in coordination with site teams,
• Analyze construction progress versus plan, identify deviations, and prepare recovery or acceleration plans when needed,
• Perform man-hour and productivity analyses ; establish and monitor unit rates for project activities,
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure progress data accuracy,
• Prepare progress payment reports and support monthly cost and schedule reporting processes,
• Define and monitor project milestones to ensure timely completion of all deliverables,
• Support project control processes including progress tracking, earned value analysis, and reporting to management,
• Participate in tender processes by preparing preliminary schedules, resource plans, and timeline-based cost analyses.
WHAT WE OFFER
-Remote+: At least 1 (one) day per week is worked in the office.
-Hybrid: Working at least 2 (two) or 3 (three) days a week in the workplace/office.
-From/on-site: Working at least 4 (four) or 5 (five) days a week on-site/office.
