Key Responsibilities
- Budget & Cost Management: Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and forecasts; track expenses and revenue.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income/expenditure summaries.
- Analysis & Insights: Analyze project financial data, identify budget variances, and provide commentary to project teams.
- Billing & Invoicing: Manage the project billing and invoicing process for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP), internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, finance teams, vendors, and auditors.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized project financial records and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in accounting, with project accounting or construction industry experience often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Procore), data entry, AP/AR.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail.
Core Function To provide financial guidance and control over projects, ensuring profitability, accurate cost allocation, and adherence to financial policies from initiation to closure.
