Project Accountant - Construction

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Islamabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial information to inform company decisions. They will also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of all financial transactions and contributing to budget planning and forecasting

Job Duties and Responsibilities for Site Accountant:

• Financial Record Keeping:
• maintaining accurate financial records specific to site operations, including ledgers and transaction logs.
• Record daily site-related transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
• Cost Tracking:
• Monitor and track project-related costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Assist in preparing cost reports to analyze.
• Accounts Payable Management:
• Process and verify vendor invoices related to site purchases and services.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all payments and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Site Financial Reporting:
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports for site management, detailing expenditures and cash flow.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and budget updates for ongoing projects.
• Document Management:
• Organize and maintain financial documents related to the site, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing documentation for Internal audits and internal reviews.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the site project manager and other team members to gather necessary financial information.
• Communicate regularly with the main accounting office to ensure alignment on financial processes.
• Compliance and Controls:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls specific to site operations.
• Assist in implementing financial procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on accounting practices and software relevant to site financial management.

Suggest improvements to processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency of the site accounting function.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per hour
