Project Accountant - Construction Industry Experience

A Project Accountant in the construction industry using ERP is responsible for managing project finances, including budget tracking, cost analysis, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key duties include processing invoices, managing subcontractor payments, collaborating with project managers on financial planning, and generating financial reports within the ePROMIS system to support project profitability and decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Project Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and compliance with company policies.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in setting up and maintaining project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and creating financial forecasts.
• Cost Tracking and Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analyses, track project expenses, and identify variances to control project costs.
• Billing and Invoicing: Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely client billing and process subcontractor invoices and pay applications.
• Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including project progress, income, and expenditure.
• ePROMIS System Management: Utilize ePROMIS for financial tracking, data input, and report generation, acting as an expert on the system's functionalities.
• Compliance: Ensure projects comply with financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., GAAP), and internal policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, project delivery teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making.
