Project Accountant – Healthcare (Own Viss Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our client’s team on a 6‑month contract (renewable) basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in project accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry, and be comfortable working in an ERP environment.

This role is well‑suited for a part‑qualified or finalist‑level professional who can immediately contribute to project costing, procurement, and financial control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project accounting activities, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting
• Handle equipment costing and detailed cost analysis for healthcare projects
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with procurement and operations teams
• Support equipment procurement costing, including vendor pricing and cost comparisons
• Account for after‑sales service contracts, warranties, and related provisions
• Monitor and record warranty provisions and service-related costs
• Ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance with internal policies
• Work effectively within an ERP environment to maintain financial data integrity

Requirements

• Proven experience in project accounting (mandatory)
• Part‑qualified or finalist candidates are preferred
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Equipment costing
• PO creation and procurement costing
• After‑sales service contracts
• Warranty provisions
• Prior exposure to the healthcare industry is highly preferred
• Hands‑on experience with any ERP system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a project‑driven environment
• Immediate or short‑notice availability preferred
