Project Analyst

SMX is seeking a Project Analyst to work as part of an integrated Project Travel Management Team supporting Government customers. The Project Analyst will support coordination, compliance and other travel related support services to the Program team members.

This position requires a DoD Secret which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

This position requires to work onsite in Kapolei, Hawaii.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, review, submit, and track travel documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to support travel requirements
  • Communicates with stakeholders to provide travel documentation
  • Works cooperatively with the Travel Management Team in developing short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures in accordance with contract parameters
  • Works with team to problem-solve and facilitates issue resolution
  • Assist the Travel Manager to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contractual requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • 1-2 years of project support in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques and ability to direct improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with reviewing and editing technical documentation
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priority levels in support of the Program Team
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Possess excellent data management, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Defense services program management experience in the following fields: C4ISR program operations
  • 3+ years of project support in a fast-paced environment
  • Associate's degree or higher in business or other technical related fields
