BrightKey is seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Project and Operations Coordinator. This is a mixed role combining project management, client coordination, reporting, and hands-on operational support. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of both administrative and physical tasks to ensure projects and daily operations run smoothly.

Key Information:

  • Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time Off
  • Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (onsite with local travel)
  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
  • Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering requirements, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Develop and maintain written procedures, reports, and documentation to support operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with employees to ensure teams are aligned and performing effectively.
  • Assist in daily mailroom operations including mail screening, sorting, and distribution.
  • Perform local deliveries and provide hands-on support as needed to meet client and operational needs.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to overall workflow optimization.
  • Assisting the director in the management and operations of employees at various client sites

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable performing both administrative and physical tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred:
    • Prior military experience (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard) or experience with Federal Government operations.
    • A current Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
    • Prior experience in mailroom operations, mail screening
    • CBRNE or X-Ray experience is preferred
    • TSA screening experience
