JOb Purpose
The incumbent will oversee field implementation of an Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) study in Jamshoro District. Supervise field teams, conduct and manage qualitative interviews, ensure high-quality data collection, and lead facility mapping and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities

Supervise and guide enumerators in field data collection, ensuring adherence to study protocols.

Provide hands-on support for KAP surveys when required to ensure professional and ethical data collection.

Provide ongoing training and mentorship to enumerators to ensure professional, ethical, and high-quality survey administration.

Conduct data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of data collected.

Conduct qualitative interviews, including transcription, translation, and taking field notes as needed.

Lead facility mapping and coordinate engagement with health facilities and stakeholders, including private practitioners.

Plan and facilitate field logistics, including scheduling and coordination of team activities.

Ensure that confidentiality and ethical research practices are maintained across all field activities, including proper informed consent procedures by field teams.

Provide regular progress updates to the Principal Investigator (or designee) and ensure timely achievement of targets.

Facilitate the preparation and submission of ethics applications and related documentation, as needed.

Perform any other tasks as assigned to support the successful implementation of the study.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (ksa)
Required Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is a plus.
Required Experience
-
At least 3 years of experience in field research, data collection coordination, or public health program implementation.

Prior experience in primary research (quantitative and/or qualitative), including survey administration and interview-based data collection, is desirable.

Prior experience with health facility mapping and stakeholder engagement will be an advantage.
