The Role

The Project Consultant- Implementation is responsible for leading a team of specialists and overseeing the successful delivery of complex and large-scale implementation projects. This role ensures that all client and internal deployments are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with strategic business goals. The Manager provides leadership, direction, and oversight across multiple concurrent projects, while also serving as a key escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping implementation strategy, driving operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance team culture.

This role is hybrid if based in Cleveland, OH, working 1 day onsite from AMS office OR Remote if based in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Ohio.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Project Oversight

  • Oversee the planning and execution of multiple concurrent implementation projects.
  • Ensure alignment with client objectives, contractual obligations, and internal standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and client concerns.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal business leaders.
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership during solution design and deployment.
  • Represent the implementation function in governance forums and client steering committees.

Operational Excellence and Governance

  • Ensure adherence to implementation methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement.

Skills & Experience

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs including deployment of vendor management systems (VMS) and contingent CRM solutions.
  • Working knowledge of the full project lifecycle from experience gained working within Talent Acquisition or Implementation Services
  • Expert working knowledge of contingent processes, policies, and operations.
  • Proven ability of managing stakeholder/client relationships and expectations
  • Able to work to tight deadlines, supporting multiple deliverables/activities at any point in time
  • Demonstrated capability in obtaining and interpreting complex data
  • Experience of preparing and delivering client presentations
  • Ability to obtain agreement on key decisions with sign off from stakeholders on process design
  • Ability to produce clear and concise documentation

Highly Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in project delivery methodology and toolkits
  • Experience of using Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, Teams, SPARK, Excel, Outlook, PPT and Word
  • Experience working in a project environment
  • Knowledge of future trends in our industry, such as, service offerings, robotics, artificial intelligence, and recruitment marketing
  • Proven experience in change management / continuous improvement
