Position Objective:
The Project Controls Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and resource management processes across fabrication & erection of complete project. This role ensures timely project delivery, budget adherence, risk mitigation, and accurate reporting, supporting operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
- Implement cost control systems to track project expenditures, forecasts, and variances.
- Conduct regular project progress reviews and reporting to identify deviations, risks, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Operations, QA/QC, Procurement, and HSE teams to ensure resource alignment and project execution.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, cash flow projections, and budget analysis for senior management and clients.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress logs.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
- Monitor and optimize manpower and equipment allocation for effective project delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to project planners, schedulers, and project engineers on project controls processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and international standards.
- Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely project performance data.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Project Management; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in project controls, planning, or project management within fabrication, oil & gas, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, reporting tools, and project management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of international construction codes, fabrication standards, and quality management practices.
- Project experience with QE, ARAMCO, ADNOC or KOC is mandatory
