Job Brief

The Project Controls Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mega-scale residential developments. This role is a hybrid of traditional project controls and advanced data analytics. You will be responsible for ensuring projects remain on time and within budget while leveraging Power BI to transform complex project data into actionable insights, providing stakeholders with real-time visibility into KPIs, risks, and financial health.


Main Role Objectives

  • Data-Driven Oversight: Supervise team performance and project timelines using automated dashboards.
  • Financial & Quality Control: Implement rigorous cost control and quality assurance protocols to maximize ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management: Deliver high-level reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Chief Suburb Officer, and Chief Development Officer.
  • Advanced Analytics: Build and maintain a robust Project Management Information System (PMIS) using Power BI.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s in Construction or Engineering Management preferred).
  • Experience: in Project Control, specifically within Mega Projects , Real Estate Development , or Residential Construction .
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) and RMP (Risk Management Professional) are required.
  • Regional Expertise: Prior experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is highly preferred.


Requirement

Business Intelligence

Expert-level Power BI: DAX, Power Query, and data modeling to create automated project health dashboards.

Scheduling

Mastery of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for critical path analysis.

Financial Acumen

Budget management, cost control techniques, and feasibility analysis.

Risk Management

Advanced risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Software

Integration of PMIS tools with ERP systems for seamless data flow.
